The Future of Immigration Enforcement

The Journal of Law & Politics will co-sponsor this symposium with the Immigration Law Program on Friday, October 24, 2014, from 9:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. in Caplin Pavilion.

With wide agreement that the U.S. immigration enforcement system is broken and much disagreement over how to fix it, this symposium will attempt to discuss more stable and sustainable immigration control approaches.

Doris Meissner, senior fellow at the Migration Policy Institute and former commissioner of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service gave the keynote address. Below is a video of her address.
